LIVES LOST AT START OF HOLIDAYS - SOUTH COAST

12 people killed on South Coast roads in 5 days

Amongst the casualties was the mayor of Mngquma municipality in the Eastern Cape who died in a head-on collision near Harding.

PARAMEDICS and rescue workers have been kept extremely busy over the weekend attending to number of accidents on the South Coast.
Three killed
Fatalities started last Thursday when three people died in a head-on collision between Harding and Staffords Post near Payne Sawmill.
Police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka said that both vehicles caught alight and three passengers in the motor vehicle died at the scene.
