A NEW Germany woman was hijacked and raped by two men during a horrific two-hour ordeal on Saturday afternoon.
According to Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele, the 37-year old-victim was leaving her house to buy medicine for her husband when she was accosted by two men, one armed with a gun.
"One of the men drove the woman’s car, while the other man in the back seat raped her. When he was done, the driver stopped the car and went into the back and the other man drove the vehicle. The second suspect also raped her,” said Manqele.
The man stopped the car in a dark spot in the Wentworth area and asked the woman if the car is fitted with a tracking device and she said no.
"Wentworth police arrived and the victim and her husband were transported by ambulance to Addington Hospital,” said Manqele.
A case of carjacking and rape was opened in Pinetown and no arrests have been made.
