TWO men held a knife to a motorists’s throat while his vehicle was stationary at a traffic light on the M13 bridge on Richmond Road, exiting Pinetown earlier today.
According to Andreas Mathios, community and media liaison for Blue Security TV, the area has been identified as one of the key crime hot spots and was in fact the same area where a motorist jumped out of his vehicle and fired five shots at two alleged robbers three weeks ago.
One of the robbers was armed with a knife. The knife was recovered and the robber was shot in his back in the previous incident.
Paramedics treated the motorist at the scene before transporting him to hospital.
