NORTHDENE resident was stabbed by an intruder who broke into his home on Sunday morning.
The operations manager for Blue Security, Brian Jackson, said an armed response officer responded to the scene of the stabbing when the victim’s wife pressed a panic button at around 5.50am.
“The resident was in the kitchen of his home in Reed Place when he suddenly noticed a man standing behind him. A fight broke out and the intruder stabbed him in the abdomen with a kitchen knife,” he said.
